and now the worlds greatest pole dancer

this woman just pulls off harder and harder tricks as this goes on

all while that Florence vs the Machine track blasts away

and the audience goes wild,

an audience who i can only assume has been watching other pole dancers

as this was taped a few days ago at a pole dancing competition.

apparently this is the type of thing you see when you get out of the house.

keep letting your little light shine.

Jesus for Dummies

so many of my smart friends read so many fascinating books

and they know soo sooo much about sooooo much,

yet strangely very very few of the have read the most (mis)quoted book of them all

but my friends will never really know how far off allegedly righteous people are.

and probably the most misunderstood subject in the bible is Jesus himself.

weird, because most of Jesus’s story is a pretty quick read

as the bible may have its slow moments, but things pick up once Emmanuel appears.

since soon we will be celebrating his birthday, why not just read the first 6 chapters of Matthew? (it should only be 6-8 pages)

– there you can read how Jesus was born,
– how Joseph felt when his virgin fiance was suddenly knocked up
– what Joseph wanted to do “quietly” when he knew he didn’t have anything to do w/her condition
– what John the Baptist ate
– what happened when John baptized Jesus
– how Satan tried to tempt Jesus
– what sort of strange ailments Jesus cured the people of Syria of
– what Jesus thinks about adultery and divorce
– what else Jesus said you should do after you “turn the other cheek”
– how you should pray (differently than how the hypocrites do)
– Jesus’s stance on hoarding
– Jesus’s stance on wealth, clothes, worrying, and eating

and then theres this nice little part from Jesus himself to the masses:

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who art in heaven.

Matthew 5 14-16

chicago news anchor forced to apologize after saying ‘theres no Santa’

sometimes i am sad i dont have kids

but not for the reasons most think

anyways, i am not sad that i dont have to have the Santa discussion with my offspring

first of all, i can tell way better lies than the Santa yarn

waaaaaay better.

and most of the superheroes are either Black or peglegged.

anyways Robin Robinson went on the air to talk about mall Santas (woodfield mall, represent!)

and she had the nerve to throw Santa under the sleigh

and of course she was instructed to get on air and apologize because

must be in the front row

just a week ago i was getting ready to sit in the front row of the game of the year

da bears versus the raidahs

my two favorite teams.

it was a beautiful afternoon, 72 degrees

surprisingly great turkey sandwiches were served, beer flowed

and afterwards a fantastic dinner was devoured.

this sunday wishes it was that sunday.

thats for sure.
