    this is a very sweet thing. 


    For quite a while Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws” held the record for domestic film rentals

    which is what movie theaters have to go through to get the movie so they can screen it.

    When George Lucas’s “Star Wars” came out it beat that record and Spielberg put out a full page ad

    congratulating his long-time BFF on his accomplishment.


    Six years later Spielberg’s “E.T.” broke the record and Lucas didn’t forget the nice gesture his buddy gave him

    so he returned the favor with a full page ad of his own.


    When James Cameron’s “Titanic” broke the record, George Lucas made him a full page ad congratulating his cohort.

    See, some people are classy here in Hollywood.
